Our story
Handmade in Dai Mo Ward, Hanoi
NAHA Scrunchies Handmade is a small maker's studio where every hair scrunchie is cut, sewn and finished by hand.
Dai Mo Ward, Hanoi
A studio built around small, careful batches
NAHA started in Dai Mo Ward, Hanoi, as a way to make hair accessories that feel personal rather than anonymous. Each piece begins with a choice of fabric and color, then moves through cutting, gathering and stitching at a pace that keeps every scrunchie consistent.
We make in small batches so each style keeps its own character, and we want every scrunchie to be comfortable enough for everyday wear.
How we make
Fabric, stitching and small-batch care
Choosing soft, hair-friendly fabric
Every scrunchie starts with fabric that is gentle on hair and comfortable against the skin. We look for materials with a soft hand and enough stretch to hold a ponytail without pulling, then compare shades in daylight so each color reads true before it is cut.
Because the fabric carries the whole look, we test how each one gathers and rests before choosing it for a style.
Sewing and finishing by hand
Each scrunchie is gathered and stitched by hand, with edges checked and seams finished neatly so the elastic sits evenly and the shape holds over time. We inspect every piece before it is packed, setting aside any that do not meet our standard.
Small-batch production means each design is made with focus, giving every scrunchie its own distinct character.
